We are seeing continued growth and we want to strengthen our organisation in Sweden. We are currently looking for an employee for our traffic department in Gothenburg. We are looking for an experienced Traffic Manager, with a wide network of contacts, who is also a ‘rising star’. Regardless of which of these categories you think describes you best, you thrive in handling contact with customers and suppliers, planning vehicle management, handling freight brokerage and solving a wide range of day-to-day work problems.

Tasks

• planning and coordinating transports.

• traffic management

• build contacts in a network with freight carriers/groupage operators.

• creating cost-effective operations

• follow-up on drivers’ schedules and working hours

We are looking for you with the following qualifications

• REQUIREMENTS:  Minimum 2 years’ previous experience in transport planning

• freight brokerage experience

• a wide network of contacts

• good computer skills, Office package, and preferably Opter (K2) & CarLo (Soloplan)

To achieve success in your work, you must have post-secondary education and training in transport and logistics and/or experience from Traffic Management. You have the ability and will to develop your competence to manage the future work using independent carriers and partners. You have proficiency in written and oral Swedish and English.
 

Important prerequisites for the position are

• generally good computer skills

• experience from the transport and logistics industry

• knowledge from Opter, Superoffice, or Carlo is an advantage, but not a requirement

• good oral and written proficiency in Swedish.
