Exciting position as IT Support Technician in Gothenburg

We are experiencing heavy growth and want to strengthen our IT organisation. We are therefore looking for a new IT Support Technician who will work for the whole ColliCare Group globally, but based in Gothenburg. Would you like to join us?

 

Tasks and duties

  • assistance with maintenance and development of our applications/operating systems, with special focus on related transport systems and support systems

  • optimisation of processes and system application

  • potential project management/project resource in a full range of assignments from small simple projects/tasks to large-scale projects

  • focus on our system suppliers – work with development and support to ensure the necessary functionality

  • supporting and coordinating system operation together with super users

  • setting up new customers in the systems

  • helping the organisation ensure and optimise value chains

  • EDI/communication between internal and external parties

  • taking active part in finding new and better solutions

 

We are looking for a person with the following qualifications

  • IT background/education and training.

  • competence in set-up and use of applications

  • competence in and understanding of value chains and process optimisation.

  • competence in EDI and intersystem communication

  • knowledge of database management systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, My SQL or the like, as well as reporting tools for creating and designing reports

  • knowledge of programming such as .Net and Java

  • knowledge of applications, ERP/OLFI, projects, documentation, specification, support and system agreements requiring follow-up

 

The following skills are an advantage, but are not regarded as a requirement

  • logistics background/education and training

  • competence in transport systems and understanding of both domestic and cross-border transport challenges

 

Personal qualities

  • independent with the ability to initiate improvement projects

  • proactive and solution-oriented. Accustomed to a hectic everyday life

  • good language skills; minimum Swedish and English proficiency (considering that the work is for our global group)

  • service-minded and helpful

  • you must hold a driving license; type B 

 

You should also be adaptable, positive, outgoing, structured, easy to communicate with, and have respect for others. We have a hectic working environment with many projects in the air at the same time. You may sometimes be required to perform work tasks outside ordinary working hours, which are normal weekdays between 8-17. The position may involve some traveling.
